About the organisation
Placed in Buenos Aires (Argentina), the Fundación Vocación Humana (Human Vocation Foundation) fosters the study and exploration of Human Vocation, understood as an inner call that every human being receives to develop their own potentialities.
Conceived and founded by Dr Bernardo Nante, Vocación Humana’s vision is to create a centre dedicated to the study and research of Human Vocation, with a social impact expressed through education and community service. This project emerged from nearly three decades of work, grounded in a synthesis of knowledge drawn from spiritual traditions and contemporary scientific theories.
The Foundation’s work includes research mainly in philosophy, religion, psychology, science, and the arts, all oriented toward deepening the understanding of Human Vocation. A key feature of this approach is the dialogue between ancient bodies of wisdom and present-day theoretical perspectives, based on the conviction that human development unfolds more fully when different knowledge traditions are brought into meaningful relationship.
Attention is also given to the study and practice of psychophysical disciplines that foster holistic health. These practices are understood as interconnected with the spiritual dimension of life, emphasising that bodily care, awareness, and inner development are inseparable aspects of a broader process linked to discovering and embodying one’s vocation.
At the academic and cultural level, the Foundation organises lectures, seminars, and educational activities, in addition to promoting the publication of books, written materials, and audiovisual productions. It maintains collaborative relationships with universities, public institutions, and cultural and educational organisations, both nationally and internationally, fostering exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue. Alongside these activities, it sustains a commitment to the broader community through forms of material, cultural, and spiritual solidarity.
