The Gospel of Thomas (discovered in 1945) is a crucial text for understanding not only primitive Christianity but also the philosophical and religious world of Late Antiquity. The Director of the ReD Global Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s and Visiting Professor at the Centro de Estudos Clássicos e Humanísticos at the University of Coimbra, Prof. Dr Lautaro Roig Lanzillotta, will deliver an intensive course on the Gospel of Thomas.
