Professor of New Testament and Early Christian Studies at the Faculty of Religion, Culture, and Society of the University of Groningen. He is currently a Calouste Gulbenkian Visiting Professor at the Centro de Estudos Clássicos e Humanísticos da Universidade de Coimbra. Dr Lanzillotta holds a Ph.D. in Classics by the Universidad Complutense and a PhD in Theology from the University of Groningen.
