The Muslim Archive strives for a broader and better understanding of the history and present of Dutch Muslims and an enrichment of the collective memory of the Netherlands.

This will make Dutch Muslims feel more seen, valued, and acknowledged with all their identities.

Dutch people, regardless of their background, are becoming more aware of the (centuries-old) pluralism of Dutch society and its addedvalue.

The MA contributions aim to integrate the cultural and religious heritage of Dutch Muslims into the Netherlands’ cultural fabric.

In doing so, MA promote a shared sense of belonging and a shared future that is inclusive and resilient.
