Andrea De Vita was Director of the National Registry of Religions. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Seville and a degree in Theology from the ISEDET University Institute.
She is currently a professor of Arab and Islamic studies at the University of Salvador (USAL).

Dr De Vita is an active member and research advisor at the Centre for Research in Philosophy and History of Religions (CIFHIRE‐CONICET) and has served as an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Middle Eastern issues.
